Welcome to Mike Z's Guide Service serving the beautiful rivers of the Olympic Peninsula. Come join me on a float down some of the most pristine rivers remaining in Washington State including the Hoh, Sol Duc, Bogachiel and Calawah rivers. These rivers are synonymous with BIG trophy steelhead in excess of 20 pounds and salmon over 40 pounds. I will take you down in a 16 foot Pro Hyde drift boat with forced air heating to keep you warm on those cold winter mornings. I will work hard and give you a FULL 8-10 hour day of quality fishing and will provide you with all tackle and bait. All you need to bring is your license, rain gear, lunch, refreshments and a camera to capture that trophy picture.

I also guide on Southwest Washington's Kalama and Cowlitz Rivers to give my clients the best fishing opportunities available. I utilize all fishing techniques, including, float fishing, side-drifting, pulling plugs, and fly fishing both nymphing and swinging. I am flexible to use all techniques depending on water conditions and your ability and preference. I use only top quality fishing equipment including Redington rods and high quality Izorline and Shimano and Ambassador reels. Low water conditions may require my available Outcast Raft.
